As director of Tourism, Rick Remsnyder needs to have as many sales tools as possible to help promote Ulster County’s growing tourism industry.

“Ellenbogen Media has produced four tourism videos and two TV commercials, I wouldn’t think of using anyone else, they’ve been tremendous for Ulster County”

Videos produced for Ulster County showcase: things to do, places to stay, and events and festivals around the County.  The television commercials, “Need a bigger playground?” and “Day in the life” have been running in the metro New York market on ABC-TV and CBS-TV.  A video for Ulster County, featuring the late Levon Helm, has garnered over 33,000 views.  The County Executive, Mike Hein, “is very happy” with the results.  Remsnyder says, as a result of the marketing efforts by Focus Media, and Ellenbogen videos, “since 2009 our tourism numbers are up 23%.”
