Mole-Richardson’s Comet Boom comes ready to go to work: with a roller stand and counterweight, a maximum height of 8.5′ and a boom arm that extends to 8′, all you need to decide is whether you want a lamp boom or a microphone boom, because the Comet handles either equally well. The boom arm rotates 360° with the base locked in a stationary position, and the vertical riser has an air brake–so you can safely lower the boom.
