Even though it is less than 90 minutes from New York City, Dutchess County offers a taste of the country. With its scenic views, old-fashioned Main Streets and growing list of outdoor activities, it is the perfect place to escape the big city and enjoy the fresh air.

Dutchess County is a vast area with so much to offer. Through a series of television commercials targeted toward metro New York, and a handful of longer web videos, Ellenbogen Creative Media, BBG and G Advertising and Dutchess County Tourism worked together to show the gems that the County has to offer. Each video shows a different sector, demonstrating that even though it is the country there is something for every taste. The “Better View” commercial shows the curious traveller that after a trip, you can step out into a different world full of open space and breathtaking views.

Over the course of multiple weeks of shooting, spread out throughout the seasons, Ellenbogen Creative was able to start compiling the videos. The idea was to show off the open spaces, give a small town feel, but still show that there are endless possibilities for fun and adventure for any age. Beautifully composed images of landscapes, once-a-year festivals, and unique dining opportunities were captured all hours of the day and night just to get the perfect shot. These unique wide shots, along with a slower pacing and laid back music really bring out the feeling of Dutchess County being a great place to relax and explore.
