Aerial/Drone

A great way to capture never before seen perspectives and aerial images of landscapes, cities, events, and recently, real estate. Video is now a necessity when marketing, campaigning or advertising anything, and drone footage makes it one step easier.

Ellenbogen Creative Media has been flying drones since 2013 and is one of the premier drone operating companies in the area. With drones available in virtually every store, and so many hobbyists buying drones to shoot videos for events and real estate, the market has become flooded with drone operators. Due to safety, privacy, and legal issues, not just anyone can operate and use a drone for business applications. Drone flying may look simple but crashes are common and there are rules that every pilot must obey.

Ellenbogen offers a professional team of FAA experienced drone operating pilots as they are an early adopter of the technology. Ellenbogen assures that you receive the best quality and footage available.

The Williams Lake Project in Rosendale is where real estate drone footage is being used locally. This type of 4K video footage helps market its property in a more interactive way than a map or blueprint ever could. Footage from before, during, and after construction, shows progress and gives potential buyers the ability to compare and contrast the location through the constantly changing seasons (as seen in the video above). The team at Ellenbogen has been working alongside the Williams Lake Project to capture aerial video and photography showcasing what the beautiful lake property will soon be. Their skills are unmatched and offer viewpoints from different times of the year to help potential customers see their ideas in real-time.

The vision of the Williams Lake Project is simple: To sustainably redevelop the former Williams Lake Hotel property as a Resort Spa and Residential Community focused on health, wellness and outdoor recreation. The goal is to keep this land accessible for research, teaching, and enjoyment like running and biking. With a property of roughly eight hundred acres, a footprint of this size starts to blur into a green and blue mush of water of land. Drone footage makes it possible to see the detail of the property, the texture of the trees, and the calmness of the lake up close. The Wallkill Rail Trail, views from the summit, and footage of the chilly, dark caves suddenly become alive, and a place worthy of a visit. Visual storytelling gives this and any property an edge, elevating it above competing two dimensional sales pitches, and real estate photos. Drone footage give viewers a way to see not just the property itself but its surrounding neighborhood, and relative location to a nearby city center. Having the accessibility to visit a property without ever actually having to set foot on it expands the real estate market vastly.

When selling a property or documenting something through all of its stages, drone footage is a necessary tool. Ellenbogen Creative Media can give you that birds eye view so you too can advertise your business, event, or property from a new perspective. Contact us at (845) 339-9600 or info@ellenbogen.com

As the Spring homebuying season picks up, many realtors are choosing to market their homes to potential buyers using aerial still images and video content captured on drones. Drone footage is changing the way realtors and homeowners, and commercial landlords market property in all regions around the country. For example, drone photography and videography lets anyone create stunning, realistic aerial images at a low cost. This allows potential homebuyers to get an idea of what the home looks like inside and out before purchasing or seeing the house in-person. The use of drones when marketing a home or commercial building can also generate buzz for local real estate agencies and the realtors who work with them, as it sets them apart from others attempting to sell property in a specific area.

According to TechHelpline, 770,000 drones are currently registered with the FAA for use with real estate photography and beyond (http://www.techhelpline.com/drones-real-estate-marketing/). This proves that drone imaging is a powerful tool and will become essential to marketing real estate properties and beyond. Drone usage can also be a great tool for inspecting areas of a home which were difficult to examine before, such as roofs and chimneys. It can also be useful when capturing images inside a property with large ceilings and high floors.

Recently, the team at Ellenbogen Creative Media was hired by one of the Hudson Valley’s largest real estate companies to work with one of their clients and our FAA licensed drone pilots and create  a video about a local property for sale in Accord, NY. The house is on a large-scale property of over 130 acres. The home gave the Ellenbogen staff the opportunity to capture footage from hundreds of feet in the air. When filming content, it was important to the real estate agent that we operate the drone in the Spring so we could get a clear image of the woodlands without having views blocked by the nearby trees. Since the home also features a swimming pool, multiple gardens, and a sprawling forest in the backyard, it was essential to have drones film the entire property to capture everything it has to offer future buyers. The final video featuring this property will be edited into a two minute piece and will be featured on social media and multiple real estate listings.
