Video Projects

Working with Vanguard Solar Energy was an exciting project for the Ellenbogen team! It was the first project for our new Producer/Scriptwriter Amanda Popovich! Coming to us with 15 years experience as a Producer/Director, Amanda took the project on with energy and excitement! Working with Cinematographer Zoltan David and Audio Engineer Mack Castillo, they interviewed numerous Vanguard customers in four different counties hearing of their success stories on going solar! From home and business owners to a non-profit school…solar power impacted not only their wallets, but their desire to save the environment and lessen dependence on fossil fuels.

Ellenbogen Editing Assistant, Eric Jacobs, turned the hours of testimonial footage into long form web videos and several television ads which Vanguard General Manager, Larry Lanigan, says have been very successful! “We’ve seen a definite jump in business since airing the ads. People are learning of the benefits of going solar…seeing people save money…seeing the easy set-ups at homes…it makes them want it for themselves! Business has been booming! Working with the Ellenbogen team was a fun experience too! Getting that ‘behind the scenes’ look at how video production is done was pretty cool!”

Success of the videos can be attributed to the genuine client testimonials. When people believe in a product and are excited over their experience, that energy comes across on screen making potential customers want that same excitement! One benefit of having long form web videos is being able to tell your story in depth and get your message across without having to be restricted to thirty or sixty seconds. Letting the story be told and having the chance to show longer scenes of the installation process is helpful; but having your informational video on hand ready to be viewed at any time by any one is by far the biggest asset.

Ellenbogen President, Jeremy Ellenbogen, stresses how important utilizing video in your marketing efforts is. “At The Ellenbogen Group, we specialize in various digital platforms. This project shows how video can be used in multiple ways…not just traditional video advertising. Vanguard has placed them on their website, Facebook page and YouTube. The reach you get from the web and social media is unreal!”

As for her experience working with her new co-workers, Amanda said, “The dedication this crew has is inspiring and contagious! Waiting for the perfect shot, paying attention to the minor details…it all adds up to a great end product! …doing all that and keeping it fun at the same time makes it exciting to go to work! We have a really good team here!”

Our Senior Editor, Alex Pearson, animated the logo giving the end product a high-end, polished look. This particular production allowed us to use several cameras including our Canon 5D DSLR, Sony EX-3 and GoPro. It was shot over several weeks in the Spring…when the sun was just right!

The latest dental technology on the market is the Prettau Implant Bridge! Dr. Gustavo Garces of Grand Dental had the idea to spread the word about this, as well as his general dental services, to more than one demographic. “I was confident that the staff at Ellenbogen would go above and beyond to work with me to accomplish this task!” states Dr. Garces.

Ellenbogen hit the target by producing six national-looking videos that not only spread the word but also reached not one, not two, but three target markets! They produced these commercials in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

The Ellenbogen crew worked on a full campaign for Dr. Garces consisting of TV commercials and testimonial videos. The shoot took place in Englewood, New Jersey. Two commercials were produced which included one technology commercial and one Prettau Implant Bridge commercial. These were completed in three languages, resulting in 6 commercials. The English speaking market was targeted first, the Portuguese market targeted the entire East coast, and the Spanish market was specific to areas in Northern Jersey.

One of Ellenbogen members, Ricardo Pineda, who is fluent in Spanish, was a huge asset on this project. He was able to translate on the fly and make sure that the testimonials were accurate and report back to the crew. He also collaborated with Ellenbogen Senior Editor, Alex Pearson, in the post production process.

All footage was shot over the course of one day by Ellenbogen’s cinematographer, Zoltan David. Four patient testimonials were shot as well as footage throughout the office using a camera slider, which gave a unique look. Wide-angle lenses were used to make the rooms look larger, welcoming and warm.

In addition to filming, Ellenbogen crew did a full redesign of Dr. Garces’ logo, translated the script into Spanish and Portuguese and casted voice talents for each language. The challenge was to make sure the translation was accurate. Ellenbogen’s Producer and Writer, Amanda Popovich was able to accomplish this in-house and then take that translated script and cast the best voice talents for the project. Along with this, accurate graphics in all three languages were created.

“This is the first time we have done a project in three different languages,” says Jeremy Ellenogen, President & CEO of Ellenbogen Creative Media. “With the growing Hispanic market, it is important that production companies know how to reach multiple markets, even if the company is not Spanish speaking. Each culture is watching television channels that are specific to their native language.”

There’s more to come! Be on the lookout for the sequel! Individual testimonial videos are being produced and will be available on the Grand Dental website in three languages.

Imagine being able to take any digital model and turn it into a three-dimensional solid object of any shape! Is it possible? Have we stepped into another dimension ourselves? Are we dreaming? Not anymore!

This dream has turned into a reality. “The future is here today!” says Larry Gottlieb, President & CEO of Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation, about the development of 3D printing in the Hudson Valley. “This game-changing technology has the potential to grow our economy and create jobs in the Hudson Valley,” continues Gottlieb.

Ellenbogen Creative Media worked from start to finish with Focus Media, who organized the HVEDC event held at SUNY New Paltz to introduce 3D printing to the Hudson Valley. Their goal was to get the insider view and make this information available immediately after the event.

Ellenbogen crew took the initiative and used innovative techniques, which included putting a camera inside the printer to get an up close view of the 3D printing process. The use of Infographics was used in the promotional video 2 months before the event, which is a fun and quick way to introduce and promote 3D printing and the HVEDC event. Prior to the event, interviews were collected from Steven Lant, President & CEO at Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp, Sean Eldridge, President of Hudson River Ventures, and Don Christian, President of SUNY New Paltz. These interviews were added to the PowerPoint presentation and viewed the day of the event.

“HVEDC trusted us to really create a unique experience to the guests. Having no prior footage, we had to come up with an idea that was both innovative and a fast turn-around. I love being challenged with a problem and finding a way” says Jeremy Ellenbogen President & CEO of Ellenbogen Creative Media. Ellenbogen went well beyond achieving this goal by providing live webcast of the event, which enabled all those who could not attend or were in the overflow rooms to see the event in its entirety.

Multi-camera shoot with live sound reinforcement and live switching for webcast of the event was used. Senior Editor at Ellenbogen, Alex Pearson created the Infographics video as well as provided editing and post-production work for the event shoot. The event was shot by cinematographers, Zoltan David and Dennis O’Clair with audio handled by Eric Jacobs.

Cybersecurity has become incredibly essential over the years as advancements in technology have meant that online criminals have become increasingly savvy with how they target people. That is why individuals, as well as businesses, need to stay alert and utilize the correct resources for online safety. Whether that be using the best vpn chrome extension or installing personalized security software, each one of these can add another layer to protect from prying eyes and potential hacking which could expose their personal and professional details that can be used against them.

Ellenbogen used innovative techniques, which included the use of Infographics, to create a powerful video to promote the upcoming cybersecurity event. “The use of Infographics is a great way we use text and music to create an interesting, fun and quick presentation,” says Jeremy Ellenbogen, President & CEO of Ellenbogen Creative. “Multi-camera Blackmagic webcasting system will be used to make this event available worldwide,” continues Ellenbogen.

“At Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation our goal is to always stay on the cutting edge of technology,” says Larry Gottlieb President & CEO at HVEDC. “Ellenbogen Creative Media gives us a clear path to achieve that goal. HG Page prides themselves on providing complete customer satisfaction by sharing knowledgeable advice and assistance throughout any renovation process. The Ellenbogen Group produced a TV spot that featured HG Page’s Home Design showroom in their Poughkeepsie location.

Kristen Prince, Advertising and Marketing Coordinator explains, “Our goal was to produce a national looking tv spot that still has a ‘local’ appeal and reinforces the long standing tradition of the HG Page brand. We feel this really hits the mark, and is exactly what we were looking for”.

The TV spot features a first time home-buying couple upgrading their kitchen. The process is made easy with HG Page’s assistance. Proud of their newly furnished kitchen, the couple cannot wait to begin their next project!

“Since there is so much competition in the home improvement arena, we needed to find a way for the commercials to stand out (in a good way) next to Home Depot, Lowes, and other local competitors running ads on TV. By producing a TV spot with this storyline, it demonstrates HG Page’s dedication to helping homeowners create a dream home,” explains Jeremy Ellenbogen, President of Ellenbogen Creative Media.
The spot also featured a new music jingle that will also be used for a radio advertising campaign.

During the same shooting day, the crew also shot footage for Page’s outdoor living center TV spot that will air in the spring.

The thirty second spot features HG Page’s Home and Design Showroom, but doesn’t reveal all their hidden treasures! View the TV Spot below and visit HG Page to begin your renovation.
