Drs. Jessica and Robert Logan, of Integrated Dental Aesthetics, were looking for a way to reach potential clients and share information about the services he offers. The challenge was how to effectively reach a wide market. This is when they turned to Ellenbogen Creative Media.

After analyzing Dr. Logan’s need the Ellenbogen crew put together a personalized full marketing package. This included two TV commercials, four web videos, digital print collateral, and a microsite featuring client testimonials and various shots of the Prettau implant bridge process. Ellenbogen integrated Dr. Logan’s existing brand with the new one to create a seamless new look.

Dr. Logan’s campaign has proven to be successful with many new inquiries leading to new Prettau patients.

One inquiry that Dr. Logan received was from another doctor, who saw the commercial and wanted to know who did the ad. He was surprised to hear that it wasn’t created by a NYC company. Now Ellenbogen is taking care of their needs.

“One of the best compliments you can get is having another doctor call to ask who did the ad!” exclaimed Jeremy Ellenbogen, President & CEO of Ellenbogen Creative Media. “I wanted to make sure that every shot was moving. We created a lot of the shots using flowers in the foreground, making the spots look soft and beautiful. It was elegantly lit giving it a comforting feel. This is a subtle but effective technique.”

Doing an integrated marketing package really keeps the messaging cohesive. It’s all in the small details! That’s what is important. All the little extras that the Ellenbogen crew added made this rich and beautiful looking.

The video was shot over the course of one day on location in Kinnelon, New Jersey. A microsite for the Prettau Implant Bridge was also created, making use of all the elements by incorporating text from the scripts, photos from the photo shoot, and all the videos that were shot as well.

The Recent Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation’s ‘Thought leaders master series’ held on Oct 1st 2013 was huge success. Keynote speaker, former NYC Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, engaged an audience of 400 business leaders in New Windsor, NY on the hot topic of Cybersecurity.

Due to the size of the venue, HVEDC needed to get Giuliani on the big screens throughout the building so everyone could see and hear him speak. The team at Ellenbogen produced a multi-camera HD live switched feed (known as i-mag or image magnification) to three giant projection screens throughout the rooms. The live switched feeds also went to recording devices to be used as content for HVEDC on their website as a highlights video.

Working with Vanguard Solar Energy was an exciting project for the Ellenbogen team! It was the first project for our new Producer/Scriptwriter Amanda Popovich! Coming to us with 15 years experience as a Producer/Director, Amanda took the project on with energy and excitement! Working with Cinematographer Zoltan David and Audio Engineer Mack Castillo, they interviewed numerous Vanguard customers in four different counties hearing of their success stories on going solar! From home and business owners to a non-profit school…solar power impacted not only their wallets, but their desire to save the environment and lessen dependence on fossil fuels.

Ellenbogen Editing Assistant, Eric Jacobs, turned the hours of testimonial footage into long form web videos and several television ads which Vanguard General Manager, Larry Lanigan, says have been very successful! “We’ve seen a definite jump in business since airing the ads. People are learning of the benefits of going solar…seeing people save money…seeing the easy set-ups at homes…it makes them want it for themselves! Business has been booming! Working with the Ellenbogen team was a fun experience too! Getting that ‘behind the scenes’ look at how video production is done was pretty cool!”

Success of the videos can be attributed to the genuine client testimonials. When people believe in a product and are excited over their experience, that energy comes across on screen making potential customers want that same excitement! One benefit of having long form web videos is being able to tell your story in depth and get your message across without having to be restricted to thirty or sixty seconds. Letting the story be told and having the chance to show longer scenes of the installation process is helpful; but having your informational video on hand ready to be viewed at any time by any one is by far the biggest asset.

Ellenbogen President, Jeremy Ellenbogen, stresses how important utilizing video in your marketing efforts is. “At The Ellenbogen Group, we specialize in various digital platforms. This project shows how video can be used in multiple ways…not just traditional video advertising. Vanguard has placed them on their website, Facebook page and YouTube. The reach you get from the web and social media is unreal!”

As for her experience working with her new co-workers, Amanda said, “The dedication this crew has is inspiring and contagious! Waiting for the perfect shot, paying attention to the minor details…it all adds up to a great end product! …doing all that and keeping it fun at the same time makes it exciting to go to work! We have a really good team here!”

Our Senior Editor, Alex Pearson, animated the logo giving the end product a high-end, polished look. This particular production allowed us to use several cameras including our Canon 5D DSLR, Sony EX-3 and GoPro. It was shot over several weeks in the Spring…when the sun was just right!

The latest dental technology on the market is the Prettau Implant Bridge! Dr. Gustavo Garces of Grand Dental had the idea to spread the word about this, as well as his general dental services, to more than one demographic. “I was confident that the staff at Ellenbogen would go above and beyond to work with me to accomplish this task!” states Dr. Garces.

Ellenbogen hit the target by producing six national-looking videos that not only spread the word but also reached not one, not two, but three target markets! They produced these commercials in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

The Ellenbogen crew worked on a full campaign for Dr. Garces consisting of TV commercials and testimonial videos. The shoot took place in Englewood, New Jersey. Two commercials were produced which included one technology commercial and one Prettau Implant Bridge commercial. These were completed in three languages, resulting in 6 commercials. The English speaking market was targeted first, the Portuguese market targeted the entire East coast, and the Spanish market was specific to areas in Northern Jersey.

One of Ellenbogen members, Ricardo Pineda, who is fluent in Spanish, was a huge asset on this project. He was able to translate on the fly and make sure that the testimonials were accurate and report back to the crew. He also collaborated with Ellenbogen Senior Editor, Alex Pearson, in the post production process.

All footage was shot over the course of one day by Ellenbogen’s cinematographer, Zoltan David. Four patient testimonials were shot as well as footage throughout the office using a camera slider, which gave a unique look. Wide-angle lenses were used to make the rooms look larger, welcoming and warm.

In addition to filming, Ellenbogen crew did a full redesign of Dr. Garces’ logo, translated the script into Spanish and Portuguese and casted voice talents for each language. The challenge was to make sure the translation was accurate. Ellenbogen’s Producer and Writer, Amanda Popovich was able to accomplish this in-house and then take that translated script and cast the best voice talents for the project. Along with this, accurate graphics in all three languages were created.

“This is the first time we have done a project in three different languages,” says Jeremy Ellenogen, President & CEO of Ellenbogen Creative Media. “With the growing Hispanic market, it is important that production companies know how to reach multiple markets, even if the company is not Spanish speaking. Each culture is watching television channels that are specific to their native language.”

There’s more to come! Be on the lookout for the sequel! Individual testimonial videos are being produced and will be available on the Grand Dental website in three languages.

Imagine being able to take any digital model and turn it into a three-dimensional solid object of any shape! Is it possible? Have we stepped into another dimension ourselves? Are we dreaming? Not anymore!

This dream has turned into a reality. “The future is here today!” says Larry Gottlieb, President & CEO of Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation, about the development of 3D printing in the Hudson Valley. “This game-changing technology has the potential to grow our economy and create jobs in the Hudson Valley,” continues Gottlieb.

Ellenbogen Creative Media worked from start to finish with Focus Media, who organized the HVEDC event held at SUNY New Paltz to introduce 3D printing to the Hudson Valley. Their goal was to get the insider view and make this information available immediately after the event.

Ellenbogen crew took the initiative and used innovative techniques, which included putting a camera inside the printer to get an up close view of the 3D printing process. The use of Infographics was used in the promotional video 2 months before the event, which is a fun and quick way to introduce and promote 3D printing and the HVEDC event. Prior to the event, interviews were collected from Steven Lant, President & CEO at Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp, Sean Eldridge, President of Hudson River Ventures, and Don Christian, President of SUNY New Paltz. These interviews were added to the PowerPoint presentation and viewed the day of the event.

“HVEDC trusted us to really create a unique experience to the guests. Having no prior footage, we had to come up with an idea that was both innovative and a fast turn-around. I love being challenged with a problem and finding a way” says Jeremy Ellenbogen President & CEO of Ellenbogen Creative Media. Ellenbogen went well beyond achieving this goal by providing live webcast of the event, which enabled all those who could not attend or were in the overflow rooms to see the event in its entirety.

Multi-camera shoot with live sound reinforcement and live switching for webcast of the event was used. Senior Editor at Ellenbogen, Alex Pearson created the Infographics video as well as provided editing and post-production work for the event shoot. The event was shot by cinematographers, Zoltan David and Dennis O’Clair with audio handled by Eric Jacobs.

On October 1st 2013, Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation will present an in-depth discussion on the global scourge of cyber terrorism and its worldwide impact on business continuity. HVEDC, along with former Mayor of NYC, and one of the world’s foremost experts on homeland security, Rudy Giuliani will present a riveting evening filled with information on cybercrime and how we can protect ourselves. Cybersecurity has become incredibly essential over the years as advancements in technology have meant that online criminals have become increasingly savvy with how they target people. That is why individuals, as well as businesses, need to stay alert and utilize the correct resources for online safety. Whether that be using the best vpn chrome extension or installing personalized security software, each one of these can add another layer to protect from prying eyes and potential hacking which could expose their personal and professional details that can be used against them.

Ellenbogen used innovative techniques, which included the use of Infographics, to create a powerful video to promote the upcoming cybersecurity event. “The use of Infographics is a great way we use text and music to create an interesting, fun and quick presentation,” says Jeremy Ellenbogen, President & CEO of Ellenbogen Creative. “Multi-camera Blackmagic webcasting system will be used to make this event available worldwide,” continues Ellenbogen.

“At Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation our goal is to always stay on the cutting edge of technology,” says Larry Gottlieb President & CEO at HVEDC. “Ellenbogen Creative Media gives us a clear path to achieve that goal. That is why we chose them to create this promotional video as well as capture the October 1st event.”

When the news came out that Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp., with a respected, 100-year history of service in New York, was to be acquired by the Canadian company Fortis Inc, some concerns and reservations were expressed by a segment of the community.  To reassure the public that the only changes would be for the better, and that the same people they knew and had come to trust would still be providing the kind of service they could always count on, Central Hudson turned to Ellenbogen Creative Media to help present that message.

In this 30-second commercial that began airing soon after the transaction was completed, Central Hudson employees are shown at work, at home, and being actively involved in volunteer activities throughout the Hudson Valley.  “…. Just as they’ve always done,” said Central Hudson’s Director of Corporate Communications Paul Tesoro, who wrote, directed and narrated the spot.

“The reason I turned to Ellenbogen for assistance once again is because I know that they are able to understand and capture my concept, and produce a first-quality finished product that communicates clearly to the audience,” Tesoro continued. “Plus, they are all great to work with.”

Jeremy Ellenbogen, President and CEO shared,  “With mergers and business deals happening all the time, we sometimes feel that people are forgotten in the process.  What we captured with this video reassures us that at Central Hudson, it’s People first!”

Actual Central Hudson people, all local area residents, are featured in the commercial, including one employee seen saying goodbye to his wife and daughter in his own driveway as he goes off to work in the morning, and then later coaching actual members of his girl’s AAU basketball team, and returning to his home in the evening. In other scenes, several CH employees who run the company’s charitable food drives for the less fortunate were filmed at The Food Bank of the Hudson Valley’s warehouse; and another employee is seen who devotes time, when he is off-duty, to his local volunteer fire department. In addition, some Central Hudson electric linemen, gas crews, and a customer service rep are all shown on the job.

Using a soft lighting system for shadowless lighting, Jib Arm crane for sweeping camera moves, time-lapse video techniques, and Canon DSLR cameras, Ellenbogen created a heartfelt 30-second commercial.

Ellenbogen hired local talent for the video.  The script was written, directed and narrated by Paul Tesoro, Director of Corporate Communications at Central Hudson and shot by cinematographers, Zoltan David and Dennis O’Clair.  Editing and post-production work was provided by Ellenbogen’s Eric Jacobs.

Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp and Hudson River Ventures hires Ellenbogen to capture the essence of economical development in-action with a promotional video. Prohibition Distillery shows off their newest creation, Bootlegger21 Vodka, and get a face-to-face account of what inspired their business start-up.
Ellenbogen’s team shot this video in a just a few hours with a crew of three. Enjoy!

Ellenbogen was hired by MMO Law to produce a series of promotional and testimonial videos for the launch of their new website.
The videos are featured on the homepage and testimonial pages of the website, giving viewers a chance to see the personalities and real-life stories of clients who they have helped.

The videos were shot both on-location at their beautiful office in Kingston,NY, and also in Ellenbogen’s green screen video studio.
